The focus of gender mainstreaming and managing diversity at RHI AG is placed on equal opportunities for women and men and on the conscious awareness, sincere appreciation and deliberate utilization of the different life and job experiences, views and values which people from various cultures bring to our globally operating Group.

Optimizing framework conditions
Ongoing analyses to determine the status quo regarding equal opportunities within our Group form the basis for further measures designed to improve and optimize the general framework conditions necessary for their implementation.

They include needs-oriented, flextime models with home-office solutions, marginal employment during parental leave and individual solutions when returning to work afterwards, with the objective to facilitate the compatibility of family and job on a sustained basis.

Targeted training measures for employees integrate and secure equal gender opportunities across all company processes, additionally enhancing the potential of working together every day.

Increasing the share of women
Our clearly defined goal is to continuously raise the share of women – who to date account for one sixth of the entire staff – especially in production, mining, technical marketing and at the management levels.
