Superstructure of a Melting Furnace

The superstructure is today primarily finished with fused cast AZS materials in the walls and silica in the roof. RHI Glas offers the tested AZS materials made by REFEL and the high-grade silica type GGS with the corresponding insulating materials. In this context, the silica bricks Legral 50/05 with a density of 0.5 kg/dm³ and Legral 55/07 with a density of 0.7 kg/dm³ with excellent insulating properties deserve special mention.
