For the lining of the glass contact area RHI Refractories offers solutions that ensure color impurities of the glass is impossible.

• the entire direct glass contact area made of high-grade fused cast AZS material by REFEL

• the throat in molybdenum-reinforced AZS bottom

• safety layers made of bricks and mixes in zirconia-mullite and zirconia-silicate bottom

• supporting layers of sillimanite and fireclay bottom and side-wall insulation made of large-format insulating bricks Supral 30/1.
