From 10th to 13th of October RHI was presented at the “2nd Global Cement Conference Iran” in Tehran.
Iran is considered as one of the emerging cement markets. Current production capacity is annually 65 Mio. tons of cement. The ambitious target, to reach a capacity of annually 105 Mio tons, shall be reached within the next three years. Besides already existing 57 cement plants with 86 rotary kilns additional 30 projects (upgrades and Greenfield plants) will be executed to cover the countries growing cement demand. As a consequence the refractory consumption of the cement industry will grow significantly.
Mr. Ulf Zirbisegger (Sales Cement) and Mr. Erich Schachenhofer (Process Technology/Marketing Cement) in cooperation with the Iranian partner “Mircoh Engineering Office” could cultivate numerous costumer relations, present the product portfolio and discuss new RHI systemsolutions.
With the participation at this conference another important step to optimize the market presence in Iran was set.
